I'm Vaibhav Patel. I studied how the built world works, then learned how to map it.
Civil engineering gave me the fundamentals: surveying, structures, hydrology and a habit of checking the numbers twice. A master's in geoinformatics added the other half: GIS, remote sensing and the ability to read the ground from satellite images.
Today I'm building SpatioWorld and working with clients on mapping and spatial analysis. I also spend a lot of time trying new tools and technology, and the useful findings end up on the blog, YouTube and Instagram.
Lab of Vaibhav is the home for all of it: my work, my writing, and soon a podcast.
